Venezuela’s Great Mission Back to the Homeland (GMVP, in Spanish) facilitated the repatriation of 316 Venezuelan migrants from U.S. this Wednesday, marking flight number 133 of the program and reaffirming the Government’s commitment to its returning citizens.

The 133rd flight under Venezuelan Great Mission Back to the Homeland (GMVP, in Spanish) successfully completed the repatriation of 316 Venezuelan migrants from Phoenix, Arizona, United States, on April 15, 2026. The aircraft landed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, an operation designed to ensure the dignified return of citizens to their national territory.

This significant contingent comprised 267 men, 41 women, and eight minors, underscoring the broad demographic range of those seeking to return.

The arrival of this substantial group strongly reaffirms the Bolivarian Government’s unwavering commitment to its nationals who express a desire to come back to the country, providing a structured and supportive pathway for their reintegration into Venezuelan society.

Upon their arrival the returning citizens were warmly received by officials representing various state citizen security bodies. Among the institutions present were the Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigations Corps (Cicpc), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB). This multi-agency presence ensures a coordinated and secure reception process.

Text reads: “Today, Wednesday 15 April 2026, our flight 133 brought back 316 Venezuelans. Among them, 8 boys and girls who return to grow up with their own. Every little one who finds his land is the most powerful engine of this task that we accomplish together. We remain committed to the safe and dignified return of Venezuelans.”

Following their disembarkation, the migrants proceeded through a designated migratory tunnel for the review of each individual case. During this crucial stage, each person is interviewed by the competent authorities, a measure designed to ensure an orderly and secure entry into the country and to address any specific needs or circumstances of the returning citizens.

Subsequently, the repatriated migrants receive comprehensive medical attention provided by the institutions of the Bolivarian Government. This vital healthcare assistance guarantees that all citizens are afforded the necessary follow-up for their well-being upon their arrival in the country, addressing any health concerns that may have arisen during their time abroad or during the journey.

After completing all migratory protocols and receiving the necessary medical attention, the returning nationals are then safely transported to their respective homes. The security agencies take charge of this logistical operation, meticulously ensuring that each individual can be reunited with their family in a secure and supportive environment, thereby completing the dignified return process from the airport to their residential areas.

The 133rd flight held particular significance, marking the return of eight children who will now have the opportunity to grow up alongside their families in Venezuela. The presence of these children on the repatriation flights represents a powerful impetus for the country and its future development, embodying hope and the potential for a renewed generation contributing to the nation’s progress.

Text reads: “This Monday, April 13, 2026 returned to the country 190 Venezuelans of which 28 are boys and girls, children of this beautiful country. 190 stories that rekindle in Venezuelan love. We remain committed to the union of Venezuelan families.”
